Tohoku Textiles

I buy vintage kimono and obi from a shop in Ishinomaki every time I go to Tohoku — it supports their business and I just love looking through all the beautiful items. I then make runners and cushions out of the obi, and my mum makes lovely shoulder bags. I get both short and long kimono, which can be worn, modified, or used as a beautiful wall display. These items are available at Cirencester Antiques Centre near the Market Place, or you can contact me to see what I have in stock. This isn’t a business for me but more of a hobby —  I love the fabrics and I love introducing anything to do with Japanese culture to England.
