Heading off to Oshika for January

Season’s Greetings to all!

I hope you’re enjoying a happy holiday season and are looking forward to 2018. I’m all packed and ready to fly out to Japan tomorrow, and will be seeing the New Year in with my friends on Oshika, up at the Ohara Shrine, which has been greatly repaired and reconstructed during the past six years, thanks to your generosity and ongoing kindness.

I’ll be spending all of January in Japan, mostly on Oshika, where I’ll be seeing how the various projects on Ajishima Island are progressing, also thanks to your kindness, working on a new project that is also part of the Ohara Shrine, finalising details of the school uniforms for the 2018 incoming students, and of course, distributing some new workwear to the Pink Ladies!

I’m sure there will be other projects that come up during my visit, so if philanthropy is part of your New Year’s Resolutions(!) and you’d like me to look out for something that you’d like to support, please let me know. And there’s always a Pink Lady outfit to sponsor in your name or the name of a loved one. They are an ongoing need.

I’ll be blogging and posting on Facebook throughout my trip, as always, and sending out messages via this mailing list. Thank you for still caring, and wishing you a very Happy New Year.

With love
